- Franklin County gained 94,436 new residents between 2000 and 2010, an 8.8% increase; the county grew by 201,977 residents, or 21.0%, since 1990.
- The new cities of New Albany, Canal Winchester, and Groveport grew the most between 2000 and 2010, all with population increases of 35% or more. Bexley, Grandview Heights, Whitehall, and Worthington lost population between 2000 and 2010.
- Between 2005 and 2010, Franklin County was the fastest growing of Ohio’s eight predominantly urban counties, with a rate of population increase (5.6%) that was eight times the increase of Ohio’s overall population (0.7%). The rate of population growth for the nation was 4.3%.
