Definitions:

  • Central Ohio: The geographic area subject to analysis in the 2007 Transportation Plan: 2030 Land Use Forecasts. It includes Franklin County, Delaware County, southwest Licking County, northwest Fairfield County, north Pickaway County, northeast Madison County and southeast Union County.  Employment trends and projections are presented for the following areas eight growth regions:
  • US 33 North West is located in southeast Union County
  • US 23 North is located in South Delaware County
  • SR 161 East is located in west Licking and northeast Franklin Counties.
  • Pataskala has a majority of its area in south Licking County but includes some of north Fairfield County.
  • US 33 South East is located in southeast Franklin and northwest Fairfield counties.
  • Rickenbacker is located in north Pickaway and south Franklin counties.
  • Grove City is located in southwest Franklin County.
  • Hilliard is located in west Franklin County.
