- In 2011, the Bexley City School District had the highest Kindergarten Readiness Assessment–Literacy (KRA-L) average test score (25.0) among all Franklin County School districts.
- Whitehall City School District had the highest percentage (44.9%) of KRA-L test takers scoring 13 or less and classified in the Band 1 category in fall 2011.
- Columbus City Schools had the greatest number of students who took the KRA-L test (4,264) in 2011 and the fourth highest percentage of students in the lowest band of test scores (34.2%).
