Explanations and Caveats:
- Members of the classes of 2009–2010 were required to pass the Ohio Graduation Tests (OGT), which reflect academic content through the end of the 10th grade. The OGT tests replaced the 9th and 10thgrade proficiency tests during the 2004–2005 school year.
- Three of the five OGT sections are used for this indicator: reading, mathematics, and science. The other two are social studies and writing.
- The Ohio Department of Education standard for proficiency or passage is a scaled score of 400. The proficient score applies to all five sections of the OGT.
