Education Indicators

The Education Indicators describe the spectrum of education and educational attainment from early childhood to adulthood. A number of the indicators focus on the 16 public school districts in Franklin County, using data from the Ohio Department of Education’s interactive database and school district report cards, with comparisons to figures for the state of Ohio and the other major metropolitan areas in the state. Some of the data are provided for individual Franklin County high schools. Also included are data on high school performance by race/ethnicity and gender. For the adult population, the indicators describe levels of educational attainment and literacy. Data are also included on early childhood, preschool, and school-age childcare resources.
